What a difficult task!

The quality and volume of artwork submitted to this year’s competition has been astounding.  It took much thought, careful examination and discussion to come to come to finalize the first place piece, as well as second and third.  With so much high-quality art submitted it was equally difficult to select the 50 honorable mentions from the over 1000 submissions we received.

Thank you to each person who submitted their art works.  It has been an absolute pleasure to see so many very talented Canadian artists’ work.

I look forward to experiencing  more of your wonderful work in next year’s competition.
