It has been a pleasure to review your submissions to the #TMAC2020!
I was astounded at the level of creativity and skill displayed by the artists in this competition. From coast to coast, more than 260 talented artists submitted over 900 works in a variety of mediums, subject matter, and styles. The variation in submissions beautifully exhibits the diversity of art in #Canada and displays the collective talent that exists in our country.
It was incredibly difficult to choose 50 winners, as many more submissions were worthy of recognition, and many more artists were deserving of the spotlight. The 50 works chosen represent the essence of the #Canadian arts community and encompass the imagination and inspiration of our national artistic spirit.
To all #CanadianArtists who submitted works: continue to create, continue to be inspired, and continue to contribute to #CanadianArt!
